This mod adds some modded tek items to the game that make some QoL adjustments to make tek viable until you get to Extinction where better Tek is available through blue prints, below are the following changes made:
Tek Chest Armor
- Can customize how many seconds before it expends element when utilizing any of its amazing abilities
- Can customize how much element is used when activating the abilities
- Increased ammo to match other tek items
Tek Helmet Armor
- Removed Tek Helmet Overlay
- Adjusted underwater breathing to be even less taxing (nearly infinite)
Tek Insulation Buff
- Now visible on the HUD
- Adds Tek Insulation Buff when all armor is worn and is powered that provides additional Hyper/Hypothermal Insulation (customizable)
Tek Rifle
- Decreased shot count to 50
- Doubled amount of damage per shot
Tek Chainsaw
- Chainsaw that deals double the damage of a normal one
- Infinite durability like the rest of the items
- Requires black pearls and element to craft
All Tek Armor
- All Tek Armor has the Armor provided reduced in half, making it a choice to use this armor versus the vanilla armor
- The character is provided the gas mask buff as well
Wearing Full Tek Suit
- Adds Full Tek Buff that provides additional Hyper/Hypothermal Insulation (customizable)
Wearing Full Tek Suit Powered
- Adds gas mask like capability
- Decreases weight of all items by 50% essentially giving you double the carrying capacity

When wearing a full tek suit your character will gain a buff called "Full Tek Suit" that provides bonus Hyper/Hypothermal Insulation. This can be configured by making changes in the following section of your GameUserSettings.ini file for your server/save:
HyperInsulationBuff=400 (default)
HypoInsulationBuff=400 (default)
When wearing a full tek suit your character will gain a buff called "Tek Insulation" that provides bonus Hyper/Hypothermal Insulation. You can also customize how much hyper/hypothermal insulation by changing the following designated values under in your game user settings ini for your server/save:
HyperTekInsulationBuff=200 (default)
HypoTekInsulationBuff=200 (default)
You can also customize how long the tek shirt checks to spend element when you are utilizing any of its abilities by changing the following designated values under in your game user settings ini for your server/save:
TekShirtInterval=3.000000 (default, value in seconds)
You can also customize how much element is spent upon first activating any of the three capabilities of the tek shirt by changing the following designated values under in your game user settings ini for your server/save:
TekShirtThrustCost=1 (default, must be a whole number)
TekShirtBoostCost=1 (default, must be a whole number)
TekShirtHoverCost=1 (default, must be a whole number)

After much discussion with the players, we decided to bring back no durability but at the cost of much lower AC, still has decent insulation, and the tek rifle consumes double the amount of element per shot. We felt this is a better balancing mechanic to encourage base game tek or the tek from this mod as well as other weapons/items in the game.
