PowerGrid is a mod meant to make my life easier on the server I play on, by making electrical power slightly less obnoxious. Right now, this only has a Wind Turbine which contains a generator backup; place gasoline into the Fueled Wind Turbine\'s inventory, and when there\'s no wind the turbine will switch over to a gas-powered backup generator. When the wind returns, the turbine will stop consuming gas and use wind power once more.
The Fueled Wind Turbine can be crafted at the PowerGrid Workbench. The reason there\'s a crafting station for just the one structure is that down the road, I plan to add some other options, like a generic battery backup system which can consume electricity when the system is powered, and switch to outputing it when the power goes down. And probably hydroelectric and/or solar power.
But for now, this is enough to satisfy my needs.
If (like me) you find the generator noises a bit irritating, you can add:
SilentRunning=true
