system of damage based on dino levels, so mods with dino levels more than 150/200 are not compatible, if you still use it, be aware that guns
will be less effective against high level/high hp dinos
GENERAL CHANGES
- Introducing a new system of bleeding/direct damage. Direct damage lowered for all firearms, bleeding decreases as the hp/level of the dinos goes up. Some dinos cannot be penetrated by certain firearms (ex revolver won't make a t rex bleed, or very little)
- All firearms (including rocket launcher and flamethrower) have 2x durability
- New smithy for firearms
- Level required for firearms rebalanced, engram costs went up.
- Rebalanced attachments for firearms, now actually change stuff more than just visuals (ex laser makes your weapon more accurate without aiming)
- Costs rebalanced with rarer materials for advanced weapons, and less common resources in general
- Costs of ammunition rebalanced
IN DEPTH CHANGES
Revolver is acquired at lv 31, costs less, ammunition costs less, damage increased for small animals (struggles against medium sized animals, but still somewhat effective)
Sawed shotgun: Costs less, has more precision, does more damage against small and medium targets, still effective theoretically against big dinos
Longneck rifle: Costs less, ammunition costs more, does more damage overall, is less precise
Machined pistol: Costs slightly less but introduces the sap/charcoal combination for crafting. Is MUCH MORE stronger than vanilla, has now 18 rounds, is more precise than revolver, struggles against high medium/big dinos
Machined Shotgun: Costs less, has now 4 rounds instead of 6, does less damage than vanilla but is effective against big dinos at medium range, still very effective against light targets.
Machined Rifle: Costs less, has now 30 rounds, does a lot of damage to light and medium dinos, decent against big dinos but costly, firerate went up. Paired with holographic attachment it is very deadly.
Machined sniper: costs less, ammo costs more, is less precise but does more damage
Rocket Launcher: costs slightly less, ammo costs more, does 2x the damage of vanilla, radius of explosion increased
Flamethrower: Less damage, more range, more radius of damage
