This is the first version of the PVE Experience MOD.
The mod changes the game progression by modifying engram costs and level requirements. The mod will add a few new engrams as well. The new engrams are intended to balance each "tier of progression".
The game progression has been broken into 5 tiers: 1-14 primitive tier, 15-29 primal tier, 30-44 mid tier, 45-59 late tier, 60-74 final tier. Each tier has a theme in terms of armor, weapons, building materials, and saddles. By creating the tier system, the intention is to reduce the grindy feeling the base game has. This is accomplished by giving each tier its own expotential curve for experience so you can easily get the important engrams and have plenty of time to use them before they get replaced by the next tier.
The default player experience gain rate should be set to .2 (20% of default) to get the most out of the mod. This mod also includes a modified copy of my XP Standalone mod that allows players to adjust their experience gain rate on an individual basis. This allows your friends to speed up or slow down their progression to keep with everyone else. (If you don't like having this feature, I can create new version that removes this as it can be exploited if you don't trust everyone on the server.)
Not sure if you will like it, subscribe and try it out in single player before installing it on a server. If there are any compatibility issues, let me know. I have only tested the mod on the Island map without any other mods installed.
*I am working on another version for those of you who want to run the mod with Ark Server Mangager(PVE Experience V2.0). That version of the mod will only add in the items and will require an external download to acquire the engram overrides, player experience, and player engram point overrides.
