A PVP-focused overhaul to Ark using RTS and RPG design elements. Adds a new raidable tech tree that runs parallel to Ark's existing engram system, which unlocks new blueprints, recipes, item upgrades, and win conditions.
This mod is designed to be played at or near Official rates. it can be played at any rates you like, but you may encounter balance issues at high resource gathering. Each tech tree provides options to customize your own rates as you tech up, so you may be pleasantly surprised at how easy it is to mitigate Ark's grind with good game sense.

Orbs - Tech tree, class system, and valuable raid target rolled into one. Orbs are at the heart of Ark Enhanced, and are meant to provide an easily accessible avenue into a variety of new game systems, without dilluting Ark's existing experience. Orbs fall into 3 categories: Standard (Well rounded and easily accessible), Exotic (Highly specialized, with powerful bonuses and drawbacks), and Cataclysmic (Short term massive bonuses, and Win Conditions).
Standard Orbs
Explorer - The Explorer augments movement speed, survivability in harsh environments, and scouting. It is perfect for the player who wants to span the map quickly and with minimal hassle relative to others of their tier/level. Unlocks include Explorer's Ghillie Boots (40% on-foot Movement Speed buff) and Explorer's Raft (20% Max Speed, capable of traveling slowly in reverse).
Hunter - The Hunter provides bonuses to taming, breeding, and is a critical component in most saddle blueprints. It is designed to fit the player who enjoys taming from Day 1, and is constantly out looking for that 150 to improve their bloodline. Unlocks include Small Dino Treat (Gives either a 20% taming bonus or instant heal, player's choice at time of craft), and Expanded Feeding Trough (Has double the storage of a traditional feeding trough, and a 50% bonus to spoil multiplier).
Builder - The Builder focuses on structure and resource efficiency. It unlocks structures significantly earlier than can be done through Engrams, and can produce them at bulk 10:7 resource rates. Unlocks include Small Auto Turret (Smaller, faster firing, and unlocks much earlier than the traditional auto turret, but deals significantly less damage per shot), and Builder's Metal Hatchet (Has a 50% bonus to resource gathering efficiency and suffers 1/8 durability loss per strike).
Raider - The Raider allows players/tribes to pursue aggressive advantages to enable raiding earlier and slightly above the power curve. It is perfect for players/tribes who would rather strike first and steal other people's tech, rather than grinding it out themselves. Unlocks include "Adrenaline Glands" Raptor Saddle (Unlocks extremely early, and gives a 60% Movement Speed bonus to the raptor) and Large Keg of Gunpowder (A large explosive that unlocks shortly after Gunpowder/well before Replicator. Deals slightly more damage than C4 in a large blast radius, but is very resource inefficient.)
Exotic Orbs
Currently in development for 0.2.0 (All things listed below are subject to significant changes):
Marauder (Raider/Explorer) - The Marauder specializes in using explosives in an almost suicidal fashion to deal as much damage in as short a time as possible. Unlocks include Breaching Rounds (Explosive Shotgun ammo which deals significant bonus damage to doors and generators, often destroying them in a single well placed shot), and Advanced Explosive Ordnance (A massive explosive which after a short arming timer is capable of leveling entire bases in a single blast if placed on the inside).
Guardian (Builder/Raider) - The Guardian places defensive structures above all else. It produces massive, costly turrets which have Generator, Breaker Box, and buildable platform functionality rolled into one. Unlocks include Rail Turret (The longest range turret in the game, this turret has increased range, incredibly high single shot damage, and requires no ammo to fire, in exchange for an extremely slow fire rate and a 3s warm up time), and Rocket Tower (This tower is 8 turrets in one, providing omnidirectional coverage and firing a new Rocket Pod ammo type which can apply consistent damage over a wide area, however the ammo is significantly more expensive than any other turret).
Nomad (Explorer/Hunter) - The Nomad lives small, mobile, and out of the way. They are capable of building in places scouts would rarely think to look, and picking up/moving out on a moment's notice. This orb is perfect for solo players, or small tribes who prefer to stay invisible for as long as possible. Unlocks include a new "Micro" series of core structures (These structures have between 30 and 80% reduced size, allowing a tribe of 5 to comfortably live in even the smallest cave) and a Nomad series of Flier/Water saddles (These saddles all convey at least a 30% movement speed bonus, a substantial flat carry weight bonus, and a passive stamina regen that will enable infinite stamina when not sprinting).
Dino Handler (Hunter/Builder) - The Dino Handler is specifically designed with the player/tribe who would like to command an army in mind. It provides unique saddles, consumables, and buffs that enable dinos to be used in powerful new ways to overwhelm the opponent in sheer numbers of unridden dinos, and raw strength of ridden dinos. Unlocks include a series of "Fortress" platform saddles (These saddles bypass normal platform restrictions, allowing a full mobile base supporting 5-10 players to be built on the back of a Bronto or Racer, including autoturrets) and a series of ultra potent, short lived consumables which give a variety of buffs to all nearby dinos such as doubled movement speed or 40% life regen over 10 seconds.
Planned for the release of Tier 4 orbs in 0.3.0, but dev has not yet started:
Scout (Explorer/Raider) - The Scout is capable of detecting enemy players and tames from great distances without giving a notice, while gaining access to a short duration cloak for themselves and any tame they are riding.
Siege Commander (Raider/Builder) - The Siege Commander can establish a fob in a moment's notice, and gains exclusive access to a number of upgraded siege weapons capable of outranging even the Guardian's turrets.
Geneticist (Hunter/Hunter) - The Geneticist is an extremely focused Tier 4 variant of Hunter, which passes up further taming bonuses in favor for the ability to selectively influence mutation rates in their bloodlines, and breed through many generations in a fraction of the normal time.
Architect - (Builder/Builder) - The Architect is an extremely focused Tier 4 variant of Builder, which gains exclusive access to a series of ultra-large crafting stations that are capable of passively producing most structures in the game at 0 resource cost, but at an extremely slow rate.
Cataclysmic Orbs
Cataclysmic Orbs are currently in the very early conceptual/design phase. They will decay very quickly, but will unlock immensely powerful short-term rewards that can turn the tides of a war. They also will lead to one of several victory conditions, destroying the Ark in the process, as the name suggests. If the tribe does not complete the victory condition prior to the decay of the orb or is stopped by other tribes, they will need to start a new one, so this represents a large investment by the tribe into attempting to win the round.
