Alteria
(I apologize for discontinuing this map. It simply won't update but I am making more maps. You bet your breeches I don't give up modding! This time, Im going to make sure these maps are a lot higher quality)
What is Alteria?
Alteria is a massive open world that is made due to wanting a world similar to North America with much less fantasy and more natural. Giga's will be able to hunt on vast plains, sauropods will feel dwarfed by forests and mountains, and special animals will be huntable all over the map in the form of trophy animals. Alteria's plains, forests, deserts, and coasts will ensure that any survivor will be tested. Caravans and resource runs will be more deadly and gameplay will be less linear. If you need wood, you may want to settle near forests or travel long distances to get all the resources you need. Best of luck to all survivors who wish to tame this unforgiving landscape.
How Big is Alteria?
Current playable size is the size of The Island map.
Estimated at 1,000 KM x 1,000 KM in complete size. This is optimized by rendering in chunks rather than all at once. THis is plenty of room to survive and explore in my opinion.

How much of the map is finished?
Currently, the map is between 10%-20% complete.
Will the map become official or come to consoles?
Currently applied for sponsorship, Alteria is planned to be more a passion project and means of getting funding to keep my family fed and a roof over our heads with the skills I currently have and currently expanding on. If this map becomes sponsored, more will be added to updates and this map may be ported over to Ark II.
When is the full release date of the mod?
This map is well over the size of a normal map and this map is released for all to enjoy right now but this map will be constantly updated as if it were a real game. As this giant of a map grows and gets traction, motivation to complete this map will grow with it. Currently, Alteria will be done within six to seven months if I keep working on it as I am.
