Current Version: 0.2.1
A mod that adds simulated human players to create a vaguely multiplayer-like experience, but without the challenges that come with dealing with other human players. NPCs will build bases, form tribes, and "tame" and ride dinos in patrols around their base.
This mod is in an early state of porting from the original mod, which was quite outdated and broken. Expect lots of bugs.
There is a UI that you can use to see how many NPCs and Structures are on a map by pressing F10. In single player, you may need to die and respawn after installing or updating the mod for the UI and for NPC chat to function.
This mod is best played with the settings set to PvP with offline protection off.
If you don't see any NPCs in F10, use cheat DestroyWildDinos to reset spawns and get them to spawn in faster.
This mod is built for the preaquatica branch, but it does seem to also function on the main branch.

High level roadmap of future plans, not including various bugfixes:
NPC AI update
Make NPC's stay at a distance if they have ranged weapons
Properly switch to harvesting tools to harvest corpses
Make sure they are taming and using dinos correctly
Make sure they raid correctly
Reputation update
Make reputation tiers configurable
Different resource gifts give different amounts of rep (so element isn't worth the same as paste)
Hiring/requesting resources/etc. costs reputation
Tier overhaul
Rename tiers to not be tied to Primal Fear
Redistribute default dinos and structure tiers to spread them out more evenly (currently all dinos are unlocked by tier 3)
Higher tiers have higher level and therefore higher stat humans/dinos
Make the tier progression more natural, so it's faster at lower tiers and slower at higher tiers
Make player actions impact progression, i.e. raiding their base or killing their members slows progress, giving gifts and doing quests raises it
Add ini option for max tribe tier, tribes cannot spawn above or level up past that tier.
