Mod Description:
This mod requires first load order and is suggested to only be installed on a fresh server
Dino, weapon and armor mods should work fine with this mod but items will only show up in loot tables and buy menu if they have unlockable engrams. ANY item in your inventory can be sold unless explicitly removed like skins.
EXTREMELY fun in Multiplayer PvE , PvP & SinglePlayer!
This mod allows you to face the challenges of surviving on the ARK in a new, exciting and extremely punishing way!
You start out in a communal safe area with various traders and crafting devices at your disposal, select your gear then take a ride on a MV-22 Osprey into the badlands of the Ark in search of whatever your heart desires...
Explore the map to find signs of previous inhabitants and find things they left behind...
Look for helicopter crash sites and destroyed APC's to obtain high end military gear...
Hunt & kill dinos to find undigested items from prey, or try to tame the big ones to sell for mega bucks...
Delve deep into the caves to retrieve valuable artifacts...
Collect resources to sell or use for crafting after you extract...
Hunt down other players like a true Chad and take their hard earned loot!...
Do whatever you want, but whatever you do, make it to the extract on time or lose your gear!
New Features!
- There are now 3 queues, Easy, Medium & Hard which determine your insertion area
- Easy = Red Obelisk area
- Medium = Green Obelisk area
- Hard = Blue Obelisk area - Dress accordingly
- You can extract at ANY Obelisk EXCEPT the one you spawned near but only after x time has passed
- Extracting occurs automatically now, step onto the metal platform to initiate extraction. Takes 10 seconds
Basic Information
- New players get free armor sets, weapons, & 1000 Dodo Dollars deposited into your footlocker on your first spawn - hint: don't waste them too all early.
- Health does not automatically regenerate and bleeding will not stop without applying a bandage.
Bandages, Heal Brew & Blood Packs can all be crafted in match or purchased from the trader at level 1
- Look at any trader or crafter to access the menu. Hold E for sell options
- Anything you take into a match will be lost if you die or fail to extract. (Secure Pocket Excluded)
- Earn Dodo Dollars by killing dinos & players, selling loot and by successfully extracting.
- Earn XP & level up to unlock better items to craft & buy .
Mod Features:
Traders:
Prices are determined by the resources required to craft an item
Individual resource prices can be adjusted in the admin menu.
NOTE: changing 1 item such as stone will multiply the price of cementing paste which will multiply the price of polymer which will multiply the price of anything made from polymer and so on.
Sell pretty much anything (No skins or anything you spawn with) in your player inventory or footlocker for Dodo Dollars
NOTE: You must open your stash on new server connect to enable footlocker items to show up for sale.
Buy Armor, Weapons & Ammo 5 levels before you are able to craft them
You can buy 1 cryopod from the dino trader and store 1 dino to sell at a time
Dinos are basically "worth their weight in gold". Weight x Level x 15 = Price for sold dinos
Stored dinos can only be released in match - Dino buying coming soon
Footlocker:
Permanent storage that holds items until you use them & lose them, or sell them. Only you can see your footlocker contents
Will preserve food items as if it were a refrigerator
Footlocker storage capacity starts at 100 items, becomes 150 when you reach level 35 and 200 items at level 70
Workbench & Other Crafters:
Only accessible while in the waiting area.
Allows you to craft items to sell or use in your next match
Workbench crafts all items from Mortar & Pestle, Smithy, Fabricator, Chem Bench and Tek Fabricator, other "crafters" work as expected
Only you can see your workbench/crafter contents
NOTE: Crafting/Cooking/Smelting is paused when you leave the server
Secure Pocket:
Accessible at anytime by pressing ALT+P
Stores several items that persist through death
Good place to store a few Big $$$ items so you can still make a few $'s even if you die or fail to extract!
Secure pocket starts at 4 items, becomes 6 at level 35 and 8 at level 70
Backpack & Healing Items:
The backpack is a very rare to find item that only spawns in supply drops and allows you to carry additional items at no additional weight cost.
Can be purchased from trader at level 80, crafted at level 85.
Hold E when equipped to access backpack inventory.
Backpack retains an accessible inventory when dropped.
Backpack uses the shield slot.
Heal Brew
Restores 50-60 health over 90 seconds
Bandage
The only way to stop a bleed
Blood Pack
Refills health to 100% over a short time
Amphetamines
Will prevent unconciousness if applied in time.
Prevents torpor, gives you 100% stamina but food and water drain faster while active.
Lasts for 60 seconds
Looting
Loot can be found in many places depending on your servers settings
- Explorer note locations - Can contain anything
- Obelisks - Can contain anything
- Destroyed APC's - Military grade weapons and ammo - 10-20 spawn in a radius around the center at match start
- Crashed AH-1Z's - Most Common - Military grade weapons and ammo - Randomly crash in various locations during a match
- Crashed Blackhawks - Rare - Can contain anything and lots of it - Randomly crash in various locations during a match
- Crashed Drones - VERY Rare - Will contain only Tek items - Tek items must be enabled - Randomly crash in various locations during a match
- Supply Drops - Can contain anything - Only place you can find a backpack - Randomly spawn in various locations during a match
- Dinos - Every dead dino you find can contain items from previous victims if they have not already been digested
Weapon Modding
Press J with weapon equipped to open modding menu - Only items in your inventory can be equipped.
Press L to toggle fire modes.
Press O to toggle equipped laser
Press N to toggle equipped flashlight
