Popcorning is the act of despawning valuable items when a base is to be compromised by raiding, leaving the attackers without a tangible reward for their effort. One of the reasons that motivates players to offline raid.
By default, dropped items (Boxes) and inventories (Bags) remain in the world for a certain amount of time until they eventually despawn. Since the default timers are normally small, this is where the mod acts. Instead of despawning, when the timer reaches 0 their contents are instead sucked into a harvestable entity (Void Glitch) that will last a long time on the world.
On top of the core functionality, this mod also adds some quality-of-life improvements to dropped boxes and bags.

⦿ If was dropped and it is not wild, poop, egg or blacklisted it will end up inside a Void Glitch.
⦿ Void Glitches have a grid limited spawn, one per cubic grid, to prevent spam.
⦿ The duration of a Void Glitch increases when items are sucked in.
⦿ Damaging the Void Glitch will bestow the items back to the attacker by order of entry.
⦿ Void Glitches can be ‘pulled’ out of a mesh by throwing any specific Artifact twice, on the floor nearby.
⦿ Dropped inventory bags have display effects that indicate if the contents were checked by the player or its tribe.
⦿ Dropped inventory bags will detect undermeshed Void Glitches and will teleport them out.
⦿ Personal player death cache bag location beacon will disappear when player checks the contents.
⦿ Dropped filled Cryopods have visual effect to distinguish from empty.
⦿ Configurable blacklist of items to be ignored by Void Glitches and a flag to ignore skins as well.
⦿ In-game command interface for fine tuning & testing settings, for Administrators.
⦾ Custom visual effects/item identification for dropped items/boxes.

EPS Recycled Popcorn puts an end to popcorning by changing the default despawning behavior of the game for dropped items and inventories.
