Ouick Overview of Gameplay Mechanics

• Tribe Progression Tracker
  The main mechanic of this mod is the ability to monitor how each tribe plays, what they harvest, the size of their builds, the quality of their items and even how many levels they put into damage on their tames. These readings are converted in to Threat categories which the mod uses to determine which tribe is most threatening and needs a reminder that this is not their Ark. It does this by sending an attack to the offending tribes base. The attack will consist of dinos specifically designed to counter that particular tribes playstyle. For example, if they have chosen to defend their base by spamming turrets everywhere, the Brutal Dinos generated will have higher health to help combat the added defence. There are many other details like this which I will not go into as I think it would ruin some of the fun of learning the mechanics for yourself.

• Threat Suppressor
  This structure is core part of surviving Brutal Ark, without it, a tribes Threat generated will be multiplied dramatically. Ensure you place one of these as soon as possible. This device also allows tribe to open a menu to show various details about the tribe like a graph which displays threat generated over the last 24hrs and also shows the perk tree where a tribe can unlock perks as they progress.

• Claim Area Building
  This mod will only allow tribes to build after they claim an area to build in. They do this by placing a Claim Block. The initial build area size can be configured via an INI setting but the size will automatically increase as the tribe levels up. Temporary build areas can be claimed by placing a Temporary Claim Patch, the size of this area only increases at 25% of the rate that the Claim Block does. The time which it lasts for can be changed via an INI setting. Each tribe can have 1 Claim Block, 1 Temporary Claim Patch & 1 Mobile Claim Area.

• Maximum Taming Level
  One of the key components of the mod is the ability to set a maximum taming level. This will make all wild dinos above this level untameable allowing wild dinos to actually be dangerous. Some dinos can be tamed in other ways, for example Wyverns or Rockdrakes are tamed by simply hatching an egg found in the wild. These other types of taming methods allow taming of higher than desired levels, however, the mod will detect these tamed high level dinos and begin to turn them against the tribe who tamed them. Once detected they will start to emit an aura, riding the dino will allow you to see it has a debuff called “Losing Loyalty”. After 10 mins, these dinos will enrage and attack anything around them for 2 mins until they finally die from exhaustion.
  
  
• Server Settings
  TCsBA takes into account a few server settings. It is very important to remember that the easier you make your server settings, the more difficult the mod will become. I have done this because the mod is meant to be a somewhat challenging experience. Warning: Please do not allow the total of XPMultiplier, HarvestAmountMultiplier & TamingSpeedMultiplier to exceed 90.
