To hopefully eliminate any confusion: THIS IS NOT AN ARMORSTAND.
This is a small structure, approximately 1/4th the size of a foundation, on which you place an armorstand (also works with small storage boxes.) Where do you get an armorstand to put on it? From other mods. There’s a Mannequin in Structures Plus, there’s a really nice armor stand here (Armour Stand), and I even included the ones from this mod (Armored Storage Stands (V 1.2)). If you know of another mod with nice armorstands, leave me a comment, and I will add support for it.
So, what’s the point of it? It allows you to, once an armorstand is placed on top of it, walk up to it, hit G, and switch out the armor you’re wearing for the armor that’s in the stand’s inventory. One button press, and you have a different armor set equipped.
Features:
-One button press armor swaps
-Prioritizes the highest quality armor (if you have ascendant hide and primitive flak in the same box, you will get the hide.)
-Allows you to claim an armorstand, which assigns personal ownership to you*. Once done, only you* can hit G to swap armor. This is intended for tribes that do not care about personally owned structures.
-Also allows you to unclaim the structure, which is intended for tribes that do have personal ownership, but maybe you want to share your armorstand with someone. Also for if you change your mind about personally owning the armorstand in general.
-4 different styles of base, to go with your décor choices.
-Can place a sign and/or wall torches on the front of the base
*You, in this case, means the person who originally placed the armorstand base.
Known issues:
-Vanilla Tek armor will go into inventories, but not come out when you hit G.
-Trying to put unmodified Tek Armor into the armourstand (from the “Armourstand” mod) by hitting G WILL make it disappear. Use their version of Tek gear if you don’t want to lose it.
