Just another “tameable variant” mod I feel needed to be done, but never was. Something i've always wanted in game, and to quote my friend DXFrost:
“Sea Scorpions don't get enough love”.
Introducing the Formidable Megalograptus!
Dominant aquatic predator of the island's river systems, the Megalograptus is a territorial ambush predator which specializes in debuffs and crippling an enemy before moving in for the kill. While not the best at a frontal assault, the Megalograptus makes an excellent aquatic support mount. With the ability to travel on land, and the ability to inflict two powerful debuffs, it is a valuable, difficult-to-tame arthropod that many tribes set their sights on.

Megalograptus!
-Mediocre health, high natural armor.
-Immunity to electrical shocks.
-Weakness to piercing damage (mantas specifically)
-Ability to travel onto land. When on land, Megalograptus prefers to burrow itself to travel around. I've made his mesh seem like he's underground when on land, and he'll seem to “dig” to move around on land. He's very slow on land, but decently fast in the water.
-Will sink to the bottom of the water column to hide when you aren't commanding him to move anywhere. Due to the fact he's partially underground when not swimming, he acts the same when on the seabed. Thus you can effectively hide megalograptus within certain bodies of water, ready for ambush!
-Genders, breeding!
-Color variations and mutations!
-Spawns only in freshwater: Inland Water, Shallow Water, and Scorched Earth Water!
-Medium-sized: Comparable to Carnotaurus.
-Can harvest black pearls and biotoxin from it.
-Left click Slash attack. Inflicts bleeding
-right click grab attack. Does miniscule damage and grabs a target that weighs 200 ark units or less. Use right click again to let go. You can attack whatever's in your grasp with either of your other attacks.
-C key Tail Sting. Swings tail above itself to attack. Megalograptus is infamous for having the most potent of all narcotic poisons on the island. With it's tail sting, Megalograptus is capable of inflicting 720 raw narcotic damage into a victim over a total of 90 seconds. This makes Megalograptus an excellent taming support. The only drawback, other than the time between stings, is the fact Megalograptus's tail inflicts a decent amount of physical damage as well with this attack....
-X Key pearl sift. Gathers silica pearls!
