Dreamtime PvP is a mod that makes PvP events a breeze for admins of PvP Servers. Currently there are 2 different kinds of arenas in the mod.
Dreamtime Arena: This is an all in one arena. Simply Spawn it in and place it on flat ground. This arena is designed for 8 players, but can be used for 2-8 players.
How to use:
1) Have all paticipating players place sleeping bags down near the arena.
2) As Admin, access the inventory of the arena and deposit whatever loadout you want the players to use for the arena. Whatever you put inside will be given to each player. So you can put 1 set of flak, a spear, and a water jar (or whatever want) and each person will recieve 1 set of flak, a spear, and a water jar when they are teleported into the arena. So Simply put what you want the players to have inside the arena inventory.
2) Players that want to participate stand in the "Start" box. Once all players are in the admin hits the "Start Event" option on the arena. The admin can participate by standing in the box and looking though the glass at the building and hitting "Start Event"
3) When the event starts all players will have their inventory deleted to ensure no one cheats by bringing in outside Weapons. Players will be teleported into 8 seperate rooms at the top of the building and give 15-30 seconds to equip their gear before the round starts. When the round starts the dividing walls will disappear leading to 4 1v1 battles. When each of the battles is over, the winning player will be dropped down to the next floor to fight the other winners until only one player remains.
4) Player deaths and the winning player will be announced to the server. The winning player will be killed after a breif time to celebrate. This insures all arena gear stays inside the arena and never gets into the weapon pool of the server. Allowing admins to go crazy and use whatever weapons or gear they want without the fear of people stealing them from the event.
The Second Arena is a teleporting system designed to be used with anything you want to build on the server. There is a Dreamtime PvP Teleporter and Dreamtime PvP Receptors.
How To Use:
1)Build any PvP Arena you want.
2) Place the Dreamtime PvP Teleporter down at the gathering point for your event.
3) Place a receptor node down at all starting points for your pvp arena. These are where the players will be teleported to.
4) Have all players participating stand on the Teleporter at the gathering area and put the gear you want to use for the event into the teleporter, just like described in step 2 in the above arena.
5) Hit the Start Event Button. All Players will be teleported to a random receptor node within 30000 units of the teleporter. Player Deaths and the Winner will announced to the server and the winner will get killed off like above. However it is up to you as an admin to make sure people dont take the arena loot on this one.
This second teleporting system was designed for large open air battles.
As admin is up to you to decide how you want to reward your winners. Get out there and have some fun!
