Treasure/Scavenge hunt Giftboxes with randomized loot!
Want to host a treasure hunt event on your server but find that the default storage boxes are not suitable because they are plain and don't show that they contain a reward if opened? Look no further!
This mod has 3 different styles of spawnable giftboxes that contain either a random assortment of resources or items. There is also a version of each that is empty so that you can put in your own items as a reward so that you can customize it to your liking!
Item Giftboxes
Item giftboxes contain a randomized lootset that contains 4-5 sets chosen from the following:
Armor - 5 pieces of armor of either hide, chitin, ghillie, fur, flak, and riot. Higher tier armor has a lower chance of spawning. 8% chance to be a blueprint with an average quality of Ramshackle.
Tools and low tier weapons - 2-3 items (bow, crossbow, pick, pike, hatchet, sickle, club, sword, compound bow, and slingshot). 10% chance to be a blueprint with an average quality of Ramshackle.
Weapons - 1 item (Longneck rifle, pistol, fabricated pistol, shotgun, fabricated shotgun, rocket launcher, sniper, assault rifle, or prod gun). 4% chance to be a blueprint with an average quality of Ramshackle. Higher tier weapons have a low chance of spawning (rocket, sniper, etc).
Saddles - 1 item out of each of the available currently saddle-able dinos added as of 4/10. Higher tier dinos and saddle platforms have a low chance of spawning.
Structure parts - A set of either stone, metal, greenhouse or a choice of either an industrial forge or industrial cooking pot (VERY low chance of actually spawning).
Resource Giftboxes
Resource giftboxes contain a random assortment of 1000 to 2000 individual resources that contains all currently harvestable resources in the game. Higher tier items such as polymer and electronics have a much lower chance of spawning. On average you will receive 150 or so cementing paste, 30 polymer, and 30 electronics along with all kinds of other items (wood, stone, fiber, thatch, etc.).
Large Giftbox
The large giftbox has 6 different variants. Each of the inventory options has 2 different styles that either has a glow (Makes it easier to find at night) or a plain giftbox variety.
An empty giftbox that can be customized to your liking:
