This lance and spear adds non stackable torpor over 5 seconds, and instant removes some food each hit.
Taming lance "The Hungry Sleeper" REDUCED VERSION
There are a few things that you should know about the Lance.
First is that its topidity effect raises with your melee dmg stat, the food not.
Second is that you realy should wait the 5 seconds between the hits, cause, and thats the big thing in it, if you hit a already sleeping or falling dino with the lance the food is instantly 0 and you'll loose alot of taming effectivity. So if you wanna tame a big dino and wanna have him best taming results, be carefull when you hiting it. If you dont care about stats and just wanna speed tame, feel free to hit him sleeping and he will eat as nuts. Remember that big dinos have a lot of food and the torpor falls slowly, so that you can play with it and hit him more often to let him loose more food without let him falling faster, but dont kill him with the lance, cause thats easily possible if you are to greedy.
Last thing is the crafting. You'll need a pike and some other stuff as crafting ingredient and its consumed in the crafting process, but when the lances durability is 0, it'll break and give you back a pike so that you can craft another lance.You should be able to make much hits with it but not nearly as much as the pike it self, i made this cause its a powerfull tool and i wanna balance it a little bit this way ;)
Last things last, if u use a green or better Pike to craft a Lance, you'll get a grey Lance after crafting and you'll get a grey pike back after the Lance break. So... plc use the normal pikes to craft a Lance.
I have added a spear with same function, but lesser effect. The Spear is still in testing phase, so sry for possible problems.Also the spear will break like the normal one so it isnt repairable, but it has much lesser crafting and lvl requirements.
