SOTF 2 : REVIVAL Mod
SOTF 2 : REVIVAL is a re-imagining of the epic Battle Royale style game mode ARK: Survival of the Fittest set in the ARK Universe.
Originally SOTF was a Total Conversion MOD designed to demonstrate the capability of Total Conversions. After it's successful launch and several hugely popular tournaments arranged by Studio WildCard it was moved out for the base game and developed as separate game in it's own right. This standalone version would later be host to monthly tournaments known as the " Survivor League " where the players who had gained the most ELO over the last month would battle it out in an official tournament for prestige and prizes! The end of the Survivor League was marked by the SOTF Summer Cup
Sadly, as the saying goes "all good things must come to an end" and SOTF was no exception. With the popularity of ARK: Survival Evolved skyrocketing, development and support for SOTF was eventually ceased and although the official server network remained open, without updates and support the game began to lose player base very quickly. Eventually only die-hard fans and occasional newcomers were left, boosted by several unofficial tournaments and the occasional MOD release.
Fast forward to SOTF 2 : Revival! This new MOD brings SOTF back into the base game, as well as updating the map and re-balancing game mechanics. This re-integration means:
- Updated UI
- Latest Bug Fixes
- More accessible to ARK fan base
The team behind SOTF 2 : Revival is dedicated to giving the forgotten community and new players alike the SOTF experience they deserve.
SOTF 2 : Revival, although remaining true to the original game mode in core features and running on the familiar SOTF Island map, is full of optimisations and updates including:
- Current Vanilla ARK Dino Versions (with a few adjustments)
- New Dinos:
- Woolly Rhino
- Dire Wolf
- New Items
- New Events
- New Map Features
- New ways to access the centre platform
- Reworked centre platform
- New paths to navigate map
- Additional resource locations
With an active modding team updates and balancing will be ongoing, planned updates include:
- ELO/Ranking System
- New Maps
- MORE New Dinos
- MORE New Items
- MORE New Events
Oh yeah, did we mention that we also have an...
OFFICIAL SERVER NETWORK
These servers currently include both Beginner and Veteran servers, with active admins keeping a watchful eye.
