Thanks to jordan, sid and trainspotting for helping me learn to mod!
Ark has many species of creatures, so why then are all of them preexisting species, how come no new species have popped up through arks evolution? this mod aims to bring some of that. Creatures that I think couldve popped up over time. (And now also just random stuff other than that like some extra creatures which are reworks of existing ark ones)
This was my first ever mod, though i never made it public, and honestly, i regret both not making it public sooner and also making it public in the first place, everything in this mod is super low quality compared to my other mods, even i'll say that, save for macrocercodraco. So honestly think of this as macrocercodraco mod, but with alot of other random stuff put in it, i dont know when i'll update again.
Creatures are all currently knockout tames, this will change in the future.
Me from the future here: ok there is 1 thing that tames different now. The microsklirirex.
Bosses currently dont drop much of value as they are more or less lesser alpha creature tier
Current Variants:
- Ice Colossus
- Fire Colossus
- Arch-Tempered Colossus

- Dragon Hunter Hermitaur
- Quetzaldracken (Can only be spawned in via commands.)
- Grand Obsidian Wyvern (More of a mini-boss)
- Chimere (admin only)

- Bronto (but not really, its a brachi sort of)
- Diplo
- Stego
- Rex
- Carno
- Spino
- Allo
- Pachy
- Raptor
- Deinonychus

Maybe Reworked Ark Creatures that im not sure if their BP will work:
- Managarmr (removing the hurt animation that prevents attacking and increasing swim speed a bit while making the ai use its ice breath more. Icebreath will cost much more stamina)
- Megachelon (making the startle animation stop the creature from sliding. Removing or nerfing cooldown from bubble breath. Fixing where creatures target it, fixing the melee swing so that damage doesnt happen AFTER the animation is done, maybe making bite have better knockback + additive.)
Scrapped Reworks:
Magmasaur: Reasons:
- their AI is broken in base ark and it seems to have to do with the base code of ark... nothing i can seem to do about it
- when i program them to not need iron anymore they no longer spit fire, they do the whole animation and stuff but no projectile
- when i child the BP it works but then i cant edit their coding to remove the requirements for fire...
