This mod changes wyverns to be able to mate, and to be able to convert wyvern eggs into wyvern milk. An engram appears in the inventory of wyverns hatched under this mod which, when activated, converts a random wyvern egg in their inventory into one wyvern milk over the course of an hour. The wyvern milk produced by this mod is refrigerable and has a slightly more generous spoiling time than default. This is partly to compensate for its incompatibility with stacking/spoiling time modification mods, and for game balance.
Wild unconscious females and wild alphas provide the same new milk.
Tame wyverns can mate like any other breedable animal.
The purpose of this mod is to unlock the mating of wyverns which was entirely designed by the game developers and then locked by them with a single setting, and to provide an alternate game mechanic by which to obtain milk. There is not an easy way to get the tools within the dev kit to recognize the difference between male and female wyverns for the purpose of milk production, and it might have been my preference to have female wyverns produce milk over time.
The mechanic of egg conversion to milk was chosen because it provides value to "low level" eggs that often are discarded in favor of stronger eggs, and because it increases the engagement with existing game mechanics to produce initial setup for milk production: players must perform the developer intended activities of stealing eggs in order to gain milk through the alternate pathway, and must at some point knock out a female or slay an alpha in order to hatch their first egg. Thereafter they can potentially produce milk from stolen eggs, but there is game balance in the need to obtain the eggs. Only after stealing eggs becomes routine or the player has a stable of wyverns can the player realistically shift onto the alternate pathway.
This is the game design I sought with this mod, the same game design present in much of the rest of ARK, the difficult to obtain alternate pathway, the hard won easy road.
The crafting of one unit of milk takes a real life hour. Spoil time is roughly doubled for wyvern milk, and wyvern milk is now compatible with refrigerators.
The wyverns created in this mod are not the same species as the vanilla wvyerns. Servers adapting this mod after start should wipe wild dinos. Existing tame wyverns are effectively a different species and will neither mate boost nor be able to mate with the new wyverns.

Merged in from the Wyvern Milk Mod is the ability to increase the crafting speed of wyverns. The Oxygen stat is removed to compensate for this.
As of 6/21/17 Wyverns in this mod should be able to improve their speed again. This decision was not made lightly. My other two wyvern related mods are not being changed at this time. I will probably include Ice wyverns when the dev kit is expanded to include them, when I have time. Wyvernhood wyverns appear to be spawning in Ragnarok if the mod is loaded.
This mod reverses a decision made by the developers, and alters the fundamental gameplay of acquiring milk. I finally came down to decide that reversing another decision made by the developers, a more controversial one, is within reason for it. By including the change in this mod and not in the sister mods, players can have breedable wyverns that are compatible with classic flyers or current flyers. I didn't make this choice lightly, thanks for sticking with the mods.
